These include the novel: Third and Long, winner of the 2011 Independent Book Publishers Association fiction award; Elaine’s Circle, a nonfiction account of a dramatic year in the rural Alaska classroom of an courageous school teacher; Hot Air, a novel about a mystical South American revolutionary on a speaking tour of Midwest college campuses that was optioned for a movie by actor Michael Keaton and MGM; The Whistleblower, a nonfiction exploration of the myriad challenges confronting an elite NCAA basketball referee; and EZ and the Intangibles, a young adult novel about sports and fairness.Waiting for Al Gore, his new novel, was published in early 2024.
